Quality flags

A flag is not a rejection. The kernel stores what it was told and records what is wrong with it — invariant 4 — because a record refused at the door is a record that exists only in the head of the person who was turned away.

These are the words shown to a credit officer. The renderer refuses to display a flag that has no entry here, so this list and the product cannot drift apart.

Flag	What it means
confirmed_by_organisational_bylaw	confirmed by a cooperative officer under the cooperative’s own rules; the cooperative is one of the two parties to this delivery, so this is close to the seller confirming their own record
confirmed_under_delegation	confirmed by somebody acting for the other side rather than by the other side — weaker evidence, because the point of a confirmation is independence
confirms_superseded_version	the other side confirmed an earlier version of this delivery; the figure was corrected afterwards and the confirmation does not carry forward to the corrected one
conversion_mismatch	the stated kilograms do not equal the raw quantity times the cited factor — the two disagree and the record kept both
conversion_scope_mismatch	the factor was registered for a different commodity or a different district than the record it is used in — the kilogram figure is derived from the wrong rule
conversion_unresolved	the record cites no conversion, or one the registry does not hold; the kilogram figure cannot be checked at all
delegated_authority	somebody other than the subject asserted this, under a recorded delegation
delegated_by_organisational_bylaw	asserted by a cooperative officer under the cooperative’s own rules rather than an individual mandate
mass_balance_discrepancy	a lot released more or less than it took in, beyond the tolerance, after declared losses
measurement_below_underwritable	the quantity rests on a factor nobody has verified — usable for operations, not for lending against
occurred_after_recorded	the event is dated later than the moment it was written down — a clock problem, not necessarily a dishonest one
quantity_not_normalized	no kilogram figure was derived; the raw count stands alone
region_unresolvable	the factor is specific to a district and the record does not say which district it happened in; whether it applies cannot be determined either way
